Less than 20% down?

If you are looking to purchase a new home, whether this is your first time moving or your tenth, you always have the option of putting 5% down at the minimum. Keep in mind, you must be moving into the property you are purchasing to be able to purchase with less than 20% down. 

These purchases are backed by CMHC Insurance, which is a cost that is added to the mortgage balance. You can calculate that cost on our calculators page to get an idea of what this looks like ahead of time.
